For over 15 years, Kate has worked with students to substantially increase their standardized test scores, and parlayed into full scope, dedicated college consulting in 2016, making 2026 Stellar’s 10-year anniversary of ushering students into the top tier universities of their choice. With each passing year, our results for Ivy and top 20 admissions results have built and increased beyond our possible expectations – 2026 brought the largest group of Ivy admits in Stellar history.

Over the past more than 15 years we have done business under the moniker of Rocket English and then Rocket College Consulting, English & STEM. On this, our 10th anniversary year of serving high school students and young adults preparing to embark on their graduate careers, it’s time to rebrand to match the more mature audience we work with. It’s the same excellence, the same consultant, just a new name.
So this is our place holder page as we prepare for the greatness of the new era now upon us.

Kate is an expert writer and writing instructor, having taught literature and writing to students world wide for over a decade before parlaying that expertise into full time college consulting in 2016. She’s also a published author of literary short fiction. The service includes access to this writing expertise, helping students produce emotionally powerful personal statements and essays that get them accepted to top universities, and win them scholarship money. In the post-Covid era, the personal statement essay has become the single most critical component of undergraduate and graduate school admissions criteria.

2. The student enjoys a one-on-one relationship with their consultant; the layers of experience in the consulting relationship are shared and carried forward in the process allowing a connected and comprehensive process. Students are not passed around on a carousel of changing consultants.

3. Kate endeavors to keep the consulting experience affordable, and offers levels of support at every price point. One of her passions is teaching students and families how to their  undergraduate degree, debt free.
